This is a great, brand-new high quality washable and reusable replacement HEPA filter (a.k.a. neutralizer) by Crucial Vacuum. Designed for Rainbow and Rexair E2 Series Vacuums replacing Rainbow Part #R12179 and R12647B . Don't spend triple the price, when you can purchase this washable and reusable filter that serves the same exact purpose as the original. This replacement filter fits exhaust filter fits in E2 series models with Serial numbers after 9280000. This filter is equipped with the square opening for all machines with a serial number between #9280000 and #1000000. Please check the serial number of your machine before purchasing this filter. Now for installation instructions: To replace this filter, you first have to remove the cover. To do so, use flat screwdriver to release 2 cover tabs near Rainbow vacuum bottom.
